Over the last month I've been working on a new project called The Good Stuff.
The premise of the idea is that when browsing restaurants on Yelp or Google, you're presented with an overload of options but missing some crucial pieces of information about them. My approach with The Good Stuff is to target just a product I know and love very much, Neapolitan pizzas. Create a curated selection of restaurants for them for each major city and list the key information to help people make a decision on where they want to go.
The key information I've decided to target which is somewhat tricky to get from Google/Yelp, is:
- The price range for a margherita pizza (including happy hour / lunch / dinner prices)
- A photo of their margherita pizza (what can you expect in terms of size and texture)
- A photo of the inside of the restaurant (what can you expect in terms of atmosphere)
Which ends up looking like this (click to go to the actual page):
I'm in the process right now of adding more locations, go ahead and suggest a location if you'd love this for your city or a city you're visiting soon.
